Elden Ring Nightreign Revenant Remembrance quest walkthrough
Here's how to wrap up the Revenant's very interesting - and very dark - Remembrance quest in Nightreign.

Elden Ring Nightreign has eight different Nightfarers of varying backgrounds to choose from when embarking on an Expedition, all of which have their own Remembrance quests to progress. These give you an insight into how each Nightfarer came to be there – striving to beat the Nightlords – and also line your pockets with valuable, character-specific Relics and Vessels.
A personal favourite Remembrance quest belongs to the Faith-user and literal doll that is Revenant. Her quest takes a particularly dark turn and is definitely one of the more interesting quests to try and pick apart, and if that sounds up your alley, here’s our Elden Ring Nightreign Revenant Remembrance quest walkthrough.
Elden Ring Nightreign Revenant Remembrance quest walkthrough
The Revenant Remembrance quest in Nightreign consists of three separate Remembrance events. Before you can do that, of course, you’ll want to first make sure you have unlocked Revenant. Then, you can start her Remembrance quest.
Revenant Remembrance event #1
After unlocking the Revenant in Nightreign, her first Remembrance event will instantly be available to you if you happen to have already defeated at least one Nightlord as any Nightfarer. If not, you’ll want to do that and then check Revenant’s entries in the Journal afterwards.
Once you begin Revenant’s first Remembrance event, open up your map and look for any yellow-orange exclamation marks; these mark areas to visit and people to speak to in the Hold.
First, speak to the Duchess by the Roundtable, then speak to the Guardian and select ‘Speak of your request’.
This then gives you your first personal objective for Revenant, – ‘defeat the Tricephalos or Darkdrift Knight in Limveld’ – which you can view in the Journal or on the right-hand side of the Expedition menu.
This objective means you now need to go on an Expedition against either Nightlord as Revenant and successfully beat them.
Tricephalos is no doubt the easier option here, but if you can load Revenant with some Lightning Incantations - which is the Darkdrift Knight's primary weakness - she'll pack a punch against him, too. For help with either Nightlord, consult our guides on how to beat Tricephalos, and how to beat the Darkdrift Knight.
Upon defeating either Nightlord as Revenant (and while within her Realm of Remembrance), you will receive the Blade of Night Fragment.
Next, speak to the Guardian in the Hold once more, and you can then exit the Remembrance. You will receive the Small Makeup Brush Relic for Revenant.
Revenant Remembrance event #2
Revenant’s second Remembrance event in Nightreign unlocks during Chapter 5 of her Journal entries.

Enter the Remembrance and speak to the Duchess by the Roundtable, making sure to ‘Ask about the Night’s corrosion.’
Next, speak to the Recluse in the Hold’s garden, and she’ll tell you to sit down on the bench beside her. Do this, and you’ll soon be teleported to an entirely new location. How exciting! Though, this is a Souls game, so expect danger imminently.
Advance through this new area and you’ll quickly come to a room with a boss fight against Corrosion. This fight isn’t too much trouble, as you’ll soon realise that this particular boss consists of spectral skeletons who group up on you and explode once close by (a lot like those fiery skeletons you find at Fire encampments with Flame Chariots in Limveld).
So, the trick with this fight is to run around mindlessly, letting the Corrosion explode near you while dodging its output until it’s been felled, and don't forget to summon Frederick or Sebastian! Once the fight concludes, speak to the doll in the chair – the one who looks exactly like Revenant – at the end of the room.
You will be teleported back to Roundtable Hold again, and can then speak to the Recluse once more. The Remembrance event concludes after this, and you will receive the Revenant’s Chalice Vessel.
Revenant Remembrance event #3
Revenant’s third Remembrance event in Nightreign unlocks during Chapter 7 of her Journal entries; if you’re yet to unlock it, you may need to defeat more Nightlords before it appears.

Once you enter the Remembrance, go back to the Hold’s garden and speak with the Recluse. Once again, she’ll tell you to sit on the bench beside her, and you’ll be teleported to yet another new location. You know the drill, don’t get too excited; danger is imminent.
Advance ahead until a boss fight against Contaminant begins. This creature is a dark, sickly Royal Revenant who fortunately isn’t too tricky (at least not as tricky as your average Royal Revenant) to take down if you keep your wits about you. Remember to use Revenant's skill and summon, then go about carefully attacking with Revenant's Cursed Claws.
Following the fight, a very dark cutscene will play, and you’ll then wake up back in the Hold. Speak to the Recluse again, and you can then exit the Remembrance.
This is the final Remembrance event for Revenant. Once you exit, you’ll receive Revenant’s Remembrance Outfit and the Old Portrait Relic, and her Journal entries will be complete.
