Elden Ring Nightreign Executor Remembrance quest walkthrough
Here's how to complete the Executor's Remembrance quest in Nightreign.

Each of the Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign have their own Remembrance quests to go on. These quests consists of memories and flashbacks to the past, and provide us with more of an insight as to what each character is like, and what their goals are when it comes to conquering the Nightlord.
On this page, we’re going to look at the brooding, mysterious Executor and what their Remembrance events entail. One of the shorter Remembrance quests in Nightreign, this particular set of memories and objectives sees us gathering items, painting, and surprising noone, fighting.
Here’s our Elden Ring Nightreign Executor Remembrance quest walkthrough.
Elden Ring Nightreign Executor Remembrance quest walkthrough
The Executor’s Remembrance quest in Nightreign consists of two separate Remembrance events, both of which require you to speak to some of the folk in the Hold and collect items from Limveld. Here’s exactly what you need to do and when!
Executor Remembrance #1
The first Remembrance event for the Executor is unlocked as part of Chapter 2 of his section of the Journal, after you have played a couple of runs as the Nightfarer. The Journal entry here speaks of the Land of Reeds – which you might recognise from Shadow of the Erdtree – and how the Executor’s painting of the Erdtree is incomplete.

Once you begin this Remembrance, speak to the Guardian, whose location is marked on your map with a yellow exclamation mark (though, he is in the same room as the Journal), and respond with ‘Affirm’.
After that, speak to the Priestess in the centre of the Hold. Once you’ve finished speaking to her, a ‘personal objective’ telling you to ‘find flowers in Limveld’ is unlocked; these are quest objectives you must complete while on an Expedition in Limveld, and you can view them in the Journal.
Begin an Expedition next, and upon landing in Limveld, look for a red-orange quest marker on your map. If you beeline over here, you’ll fight a Stray Bloodhound Knight who isn’t as troublesome as they might sound.

Once they’ve been felled, enjoy the Runes and inspect the glowing legendary item in this area (shown above). It isn’t, unfortunately, anything that’ll help us right now, but you will receive the Blessed Flowers item needed to continue the Executor’s quest. Next, finish your run as you would normally.
Once you’re back in the Hold, go and speak to the Priestess again, then speak with the Iron Menial in the garden (near where the Executor is typically found painting).
Hand over the Blessed Flowers to the Iron Menial, then go ahead and interact with the Executor’s painting. You’ll then be able to exit the Remembrance.
Upon exiting, you will receive the Executor’s Chalice and the Blessed Flowers Relic as a reward. The Iron Menial will also have planted these flowers in the garden of the Hold. Nice touch!
Executor Remembrance #2
The next Remembrance event for the Executor will be unlocked once you gain access to Chapter 6 of their journal in Nightreign.
Depending on how many Executor Expeditions you’ve been on or wins you’ve had as the Nightfarer, Chapter 6 might be immediately available to you. If not, you’ll want to complete a few more Expeditions as the Executor and keep checking the Journal between each run.
Once the second Remembrance event is available to you, begin it, and speak to the Priestess in the centre of the Hold, and respond to her with ‘Assent’. This will then give you a new personal objective, and that is to ‘find a Golden Sprout’ in Limveld.
You know the drill! Embark on your next Expedition and look for a red-orange quest marker on your map, specifically in the Mountaintops area (shown below). You might notice two quest markers here, however; we want to visit the lighter-coloured, northmost marker.

If you make your way to the quest marker, you’ll wind up fighting an Erdtree Avatar. Much like the last Remembrance, once they have been felled, look for a glowing legendary item in the area and pick it up; this is the Golden Sprout (shown below)! You can now complete the Expedition as you usually would.

Once back in the Hold, speak to the Priestess by the Expeditions/match-making table, and she will transport you to a battle against the Executor’s Cry.
How to beat the Executor’s Cry in Elden Ring Nightreign
Of all the various solo battles embedded in the Remembrance quests in Nightreign, the Executor’s fight against the Executor’s Cry (who is a clone of the Executor) is the one I personally had the most trouble with.
During this fight, you want to be using the Executor’s kit – primarily his Character Skill, Cursed Blade – to achieve a victory. If you’re not at all used to parrying and deflecting attacks, this can take some getting used to, but you’ll get there with enough practice. On top of that, by the time you walk out of this fight, you’ll be well accustomed to the Executor’s kit; it’s the perfect tutorial for them, really.
Use the Cursed Blade to continually deflect the attacks of Executor’s Cry, and when there’s an opening – and your blade is charged – go in for the attack. Be patient and keep repeating the process, taking care to not get caught in one of the Executor’s Cry’s combos, and you’ll have nearly finished this Remembrance sooner or later.
Once you finally fell the Executor’s Cry, approach the golden light at the end to find a Crucible Knight inside a small shack, leaning over a corpse. Speak to him, then go and speak to the Priestess in the Hold. You can then exit the Remembrance.
After this, the Executor’s Remembrance quest is completed. You’ll receive the Executor’s Remembrance Outfit and the Golden Sprout Relic as your rewards!
